Better safe than sorry, Bill and I am glad that you all try to make the best out of it. I love the light in the picture,
Bill Phillips: As I said to Ginnie. Joseph had a bad day and the weather was awful too.

I admire all the parents during the lockdown months - good that you supported Helen at this visit- the image is wonderful.
Bill Phillips: It has been a difficult time. We had a lovely day with Joseph today who has had to be off school because he had a cough and had to have a Covid test. It was negative. I sat on the settee with him this afternoon watching a classic 80s children's program called Willo the wisp and it was just so special

Funny how we are all quite comfortable wearing masks.
Bill Phillips: I am not sure we are. Helen finds it stressful and Kathryn will not wear one. I don't like them but will wear one as I don't know where people have been

She is not smiling, Joseph is hiding and you think it is a good picture? smile From the little bit I can see, he has grown quite a bit.

I took my eldest grandson shopping for some summer clothes. He has outgrown his wardrobe twice this year already. In one shop he came to me shyly with a pack of underpants "Grandpa, I have only 2 underpants left, one is a bit torn and I am wearing the other one. Is it possible?" The old heart melted and I told him to take another pack as well. With his speed of growing, I wonder if his new wardrobe will see the end of summer. He is just 6 and we buy clothes in the 8 year range.

New normal you say? It was April last year in Hong Kong that I asked a sales person why they are wearing masks...
Bill Phillips: It is a true picture Louis. The day was a disaster. Joseph had a meltdown and Helen was upset and then it poured with rain. Wearing masks here is a recent thing and now the infection rate is on the increase. I am sick of the pathetic politicians running this country and the lies and we are fed. There are potentially many many more Covid varieties just waiting their chance to take the leap for the animal world to the human race and the likelihood of it happening is increasing with climate change and our still expanding population. I fear for the future for Ted and Joseph and it makes me sad and angry in equal measure.
The light here is excellent but it appears spooky with Helen in the mask.
Bill Phillips: It is what we have come to. We can't say we were not warned
What a shame Joseph had a difficult day, it knocks the edge off things doesn't it. I had my eyes tested today under 'new normal' conditions, what a paraphernalia, having to keep my mask on meant every time she put new lenses in the contraption you wear the bl***y things steamed up, oh well, I guess Boris knows best, or does he?
Bill Phillips: Boris could not find his butt with both hands

That's a good idea.. buy a castle and pull up the drawbridge until it is safe to mix with others. I like the texture on the facing wall especially.
Bill Phillips: I am avoiding s many people as possible

Rather good, Billiam
Bill Phillips: I wish it wasn't comrade
I'd never heard of Goodrich - had to look it up. Good pic in mono.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Tom. It is worth a visit
A bad day and a sober image.
Bill Phillips: It was Michael. Happily we took Ted out a few days later to witless court and he had a great time and we have been looking after Joseph the last couple of days and had some fun with him.
