Quite right, too...this is serious, Bill!
Bill Phillips: The racecourse in Worcester is looking a bit forlorn at the moment. In all the years we have lived in this area we have never been to a race meeting....if it ever reopens perhaps I should go!

All strange to me - ???
Bill Phillips: These are what I believe they call hurdles for use on the racecourse. This area is used to store various racing equipment. The racecourse is owned by Worcester Council but run by the Jockey Club (who are responsible for many of our leading racecourses like Cheltenham) The Jockey Club is also behind the charity Riding for the disabled which does some wonderful work. The racecourse is by the river and is popular with dog walkers, runners, cyclists and people just out and about!

That's some horse to clear that extended jump.
Bill Phillips: I think it would end up with its eyes watering Alan

Betting Boris will save us all

Forget it..
Bill Phillips: Quite. Worcester racecourse is actually owned by the council but run by the Jockey club I believe. It is all looking a bit sad at the moment

You took a gamble posting this one, Billiam
Bill Phillips: I bet it took you ages to think of that comrade
I bet (no pun intended) it tals some effort to move these lot. I won't show it to Maureen, she gets very hot round the collar when she sees anything advertising online betting.
Bill Phillips: I am no fan of online betting. Actually I am not a betting man at all.
i am so glad that you described this picture to Philine... i would have never guests what it was Bill... it's nice that the Jockey Club sponsors the charity Riding for the disabled....petersmile
Bill Phillips: One of these days I will go to a race meting here. I have only been racing twice in my life. Once we all went to the New Year's Day meeting at Cheltenham for Helen's birthday and many years ago I went with a friend to a meeting at Ascot. (Not royal Ascot just an ordinary meeting!)
That is hilarious too. You are on a streAK!
