One of my little gripes in life. Buying on internet means that someone will deliver. One doesn't know when that will happen. Some will say "on Wednesday" and then nothing happens on that day, except for me waiting. If they could just say what 2 hour spread on what day, I will wait at home. But - no - it must be a surprise. In the Netherlands the parcel goes to a neighbour with a note on your door - when you get home, just pick it up with the neighbour.

I do all kinds of things during a day and can't wastefully wait for a delivery.

So, I am trying not to buy via the internet.
Bill Phillips: Apart from when things have to be signed for I don't ever have a problem. I have a "safe place" where stuff can be left and one carrier you can track on the computer or phone to almost the minute he will arrive. some also ring you half an hour before. The only one that is ever a problem is the post office....but they have always been useless
Fingering your collar, Bill?
Bill Phillips: Wot me guv? I dun nuffin!
I know it's a fake but it is a good one.
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Brian
