J'aime ce ciel orageux qui met en valeur le paysage.
Bill Phillips: Happily the day remained largely dry despite the threatening skies
Very nice, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thanks E. I hope you are enjoying your death defying holiday grin
You know me, Bill...I love your narrowboats!
Bill Phillips: I do Ginnie. They are part of our heritage

What a great location to live. And those narrow boats are wonderful.

I think I would still rather walk than go along in a narrow boat, Bill
Bill Phillips: Me too, and I am not that fond of walking grin

The narrowboats are so typically English.
Bill Phillips: There are Philine. I love to see them in all their variety

Very agreeable; Trim is right
Bill Phillips: I might throw few more in sometime, as I never take anything much anymore
Didn't we go there once?
Bill Phillips: I sent a body double and stayed at home

It looks as if there is pleasant walking along the canal.
Bill Phillips: It was very pleasant Anne. The company was not too bad either grin
Like Richard I know just where these are, a nice part of central Cambridge.
Bill Phillips: It was a pleasant walk Brian

I had not realised that Cambridge had narrowboats. No idea why I had that thought; I just assumed that the river was for punting and a training river the Cambridge Uni crews. I quite like the thought of a canal boat holiday; probably after a couple of hours, though, I would have had enough.
Bill Phillips: There were loads of punts about. Not all of them on the river

The canal is alive with traffic, but the roads are silent.
Bill Phillips: This seems a good idea Louis
