A wonderful atmospheric early morning pic- I love those tranquil moments between the slowly lifting fog and the first sunrays-a heavenly lighting - b&w at its best!
SC is working again, St. John has promised that to me!
Bill Phillips: Hi Philine. Just about working i think. This picture is not quite what it seems which I will reveal tomorrow...providing SC still works smile
Wow Bill one of the best photos I've seen for a while.
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Albert. I'm flattered. smile

Superb, Bill.
Looks a little chilly, so not sure I could sit on the bench seat for long.
Bill Phillips: It was pretty chilly! Thanks Ray

This is a fantastic of the best I've seen on SC. Someday, if I can ever log into my account, I'll add it to my liked archive.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Travis. Seems quite a lot of people can't get into their accounts. I hope it all gets sorted because we all seem to enjoy this site very much. I know I do.

as I said on your other blog, this shot is on top of what you've created so far, along with the cross at the window shot.

I still can't log in, dammit.
Bill Phillips: I thank you Viktor. I think it is possibly the best picture I have taken so I am delighted that people like it
A fabulous, moody, atmospheric picture. I'm just waiting for the trolls to appear and start dancing around!
Bill Phillips: We don't have trolls in Droitwich.....oh I don't know thoughgrin

Yes, I agree with Albert- one of your best photo's I ever have seen! I'm especially fascinated by the light-paths which are falling down in parallel stripes and the sunlight grows and grows while touching all leaves and things around so that all begins shimmering and sparkling like diamants or glasspearls - prachtig!
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Philine. I am pleased you like it as this turned out even better than I hoped and I think it is one of the best pictures I have taken...I hope that doesn't sound big-headed, because I don't mean to be

One of the best I have seen so far, everything is perfect, just perfect.
You can be very pleased with yourself.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Lady Astrid of the Polder. I am pleased with this picture grin

Only... WOW! A likey for my!
Bill Phillips: Jose Angel I am honoured!
Wow.. this is real nice Bill. I would likey it, but I'm no longer a member lol. great capture, composition and tones: dramatic as well.
Bill Phillips: I am delighted you like it Ade.
This is lovely, Bill. High contrast works a treat!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Dave. I like high contrast b&w and I keep on trying them!

Lovely b&w and lovely light and lots of atmosphere. Think I like this one better than today's. I have a niggle though - that bough in top right corner grabs my eye when I don't want it to. Have you considered cutting a slice off the top off just enough to eliminate the bough. It might make the composition more dynamic. Would never have thought it was smoke.
Bill Phillips: I have just tried a very quick clone out of that branch Jose and I think you are right, so thanks!

A different dynamic and equally good photograph Bill. In this one the trees offer hope that is denied in your next study. Personally I prefer the bleaker version.
Bill Phillips: I like this one better, but then this is my Grand Central Station picture tongue

Yup, I can see this one being framed and sold as a poster.

The only slight distraction is the thick bough in the top right corner, so this is a 'Perfect -0.1'.
Bill Phillips: Pixel Pixie said the same and I agree. I did a quick clone to get rid of it and I will do it properly

Lovely, comfortable - just the right place for a bench
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ellie. Wish it wasn't a plastic bench!
Also a fantastic image. You have been playing very nice with the light. Great capture, I hope to catch something similar one day.
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Paul
Superb shot. Light, tones, composition. A+
Bill Phillips: Thank you Edward. This is one of my favourites of my own pictures
