Fabulous. I watched a demo with some American loggers turning a trunk into a work of art. They started off a chain saw then use much smaller implements to do the detail work. They also use blowtorches to scorch some areas.
Bill Phillips: I. first saw chainsaw carving at the Royal show many years ago. The bloke made bears and it was fascinating to watch
This is an excellent piece of work, the carving of the Brine is so realistic.
