Majollica

The fish swallowing a fish teapot. This was my grandmother's and I have loved it since I was a child. It has had a few battle scars over the years but it still brings a smile to my face.

Bill Phillips: Not as far as I know Astrid and I don't know if this was ever actually used

Clever but rather ugly in my book Bill. Well it’s not exactly in my book but...
Bill Phillips: It is ugly but in a delightful way Chad, unlike Donald Trump who is just ugly

I can see that it would have fascinated me as a child (especially). I studied things on the table to no end. Knew everything that was on the cereal boxes, come breakfast.
Bill Phillips: Did you have toys in the cereal boxes? I can recall they had things sometimes which looked great on the outside of the box but did not live up to expectations
wonderful composition
Bill Phillips: Thank you Alan
Adoro le vecchie ceramiche!

Lo scrittore Guido Gozzano le chiamava: "Le piccole cose di pessimo gusto".
