This is a nice cheerful picture, so much more appealing than endless snaps of flowers..
Bill Phillips: I like snaps of flowers

That tree stump certainly looks as if it is about to fall in the pond.
Bill Phillips: It may well do as they have partly sawn through its base

Looks like a section of the nearer bridge has been removed? It would be good fun to watch other stores try to jump the gap.
Bill Phillips: It has ...for some time. I imagine to stop idiots going onto the bandstand to de stupid things

This severe pollards g seems to all the rage Bill.
Bill Phillips: This was a huge willow. I can only assume it became unsafe
That's a pretty lake, and I love the little island.
Bill Phillips: They still have brass bands on there sometimes
A great spot for seeing mallards!
Bill Phillips: There are lots of them but they are a bit miffed at the moment as you used to be able to get packets of bird food to feed them but the place that supplied it is closed. So they keep wandering up towards people looking hopeful but are disappointed!
It is a rather nice area, I gather it is in Worcester, somewhere you no doubt won't be visiting for a while as indeed we won't be going to Loughborough either. Fortunately Shepshed is even more deserted than Christmas day most of the time so we can go about what church business etc.we need to more or less untroubled by anybody else.
Bill Phillips: Actually we have been twice. It is just round the corner from Helen and is before you get into the city. We had a walk there a couple of Sundays ago after a chat with Helen and co on her drive...safe distance naturally. Last Sunday we did the same but also arranged to meet Kathryn and had a walk in the park with her. We had to pretend there was only one of us there naturally
Looks as though that fish-eye is earning its keep!
Bill Phillips: Well worth the money Tom so thanks for pointing it in my direction

Bill Phillips: Gheluvelt park is very good Peter. Helen is lucky to have it on her doorstep
