I had some bananas but I ate them, not all at the same time..
Bill Phillips: Well to eat them all at the same time would have been greedy

Yes, we have no bananas
We have-a no bananas today.
We've string beans, and onions
Cabbageses, and scallions,
And all sorts of fruit and say
We have an old fashioned to-mah-to
A Long Island po-tah-to
But yes, we have no bananas.
We have no bananas today."

One of my favourite foods.
Bill Phillips: I like them, in fact I had one with my cornflakes this morning

Bill Phillips: It is a great old song. If I never had another banana I wouldn't mind but I do like them
Maureen has Banana almost every day for breakfast with her cereals, I only have one occsionally, I like them in a sandwich with a liberal sprinkling of sugar on them.
Bill Phillips: I don't like bnana sanddwiches although Ange does....but no sugar!!
I recall bananas being a great disappointment when they reappeared after WWII - the taste of the dried variety was much more intense!
Bill Phillips: I am too young to remember Tom....oh it is nice to be able to say that grin
interesting close up of a bunch of bananas

when I go grocery shopping again I will take some banana group photos

I don't buy more the 3 at time because they spoil or go beyond the level of ripeness that I prefer
Bill Phillips: People seem to have strong views on the degree of ripeness they like in bananas Alan
