Sat Nav Disaster

After consulting his smartphone satnav app Alan set off with great certainty to find the street in Bristol we were searching for. Sadly, much later he found himself at the top of the High Street in Droitwich.

He felt foolish when he realised he was still wearing his sunglasses

Bristol at night- yes, it might be a bit crazy to wear sunglasses at night. But Alan likes 'flirting' to be a bit foolish at times.
Bill Phillips: This is Droitwich at night Philine with Alan transposed from Bristol in the sunshine

LOL. I can recall where was but I think you have some Photoshop black magic to make it appear that I was elsewhere and at night. I think that the was the Duke of York day when Lisl had us marching up the top of the hill and then back down again and I think we ended up passing the Duke of York pub with its extreme paint job. Now I'm a septuagenarian, expect even more daft things.
Bill Phillips: We did get slightly lost. I will we joining you in the eighth decade in less than two weeks time.
That pub was quite a sight!
He is thinking! See that light behind his head?
Bill Phillips: His brain normally generates more heat than light

I learnt a nice expression on SC: Senior moments, I have some of them, I think this was also one of Alan to already prepare his new decade.
Bill Phillips: Senior moment is a much used expression. I am surprised there is not a German equivalent. I have a feeling it would be a great word!
Goodness gracious, if he was like that before yesterday what is he going to be liked now he's a Septuagenarian!
Bill Phillips: I shudder to think Brian
