There are many ways to keep ourselves entertained in these strange times. I'm writing a list of "1001 things to do when when every other possibility has been exhausted". Already on the list at around position 867 is "Finish painting the bedroom".
Bill Phillips: Indeed there are Alan. I have devised a quiz and put it on Facebook, done some colouring and am now doing a challenge from my daughter over record albums that have influenced my taste in music.

The conversions based on line drawing (pastel, ink, pencil) goes well with pictures that have more lines, that will provide detail This is one of those. Do the same pic in watercolour and see the difference.
Bill Phillips: This particular process allows you to vary the detail from very fine pencil detail to almost a charcoal effect.

I’m just an outline of my former self.
Bill Phillips: better than being a shadow
What a good result Bill! smile
Bill Phillips: Not bad for a first effort grin
I wish I had time to play more. I hardly have time to post these days.
Bill Phillips: I decided that as we are socially isolating I would devote some time to learning something. Photoshop was the obvious thing.
I see ads for Photoshop Cafe often on Facebook

Is this Chad?
Bill Phillips: It is. and Chris is in the background.

I find Colin Smith on Photoshop Cafe really good and am slowly learning!

Chad is in the background too

isn't that Chad on the left in the foreground?

When I Google searched (redundant statement) Photosoft Cafe all I found were links to FREE TRIALS and no mention of Colin Smith and his tutorials

Will try agaiin

tons and tons of his tutorial videos

Don't fade away ...
Bill Phillips: Ah yes vintage Chad
It's amazing what one can produce with Photoshop, there are tutorials all over the place, it is so versatile I'm only just scratching the surface.
Bill Phillips: Aren't we all Brian? smile
i really like this Bill... you are making good use of your time while having to shelter in place....petersmile
Bill Phillips: It is nice to have the time but I think it is important that this is resolved sooner rather than later as many people are suffering
This lockdown business has got to stop. Some people are just taking advantage and showing a touch of talent! Very nice.
Bill Phillips: Hahaha not me of course
Clever stuff! I'll take a look.
Bill Phillips: He is very good and even I can pretty much follow what he is doing!
