Joli ciel ! Ici nous seront certainement confinés jusqu'à  fin avril...
Bill Phillips: Here too Martine. In fact many high risk people will possibly be confined for considerably longer

That is a mighty fine skyscape, William.
Bill Phillips: Great views in Malvern
Even at the end of 2019, before the page turned, Bill, I doubt a one of us could have predicted we'd ever see such a day as now. Such an image creates a feeling of nostalgia already!
Bill Phillips: We had no idea although any scientists had been predicting that this would happen, just not when

You can see forever here, Bill. What an incredible B&W this is. Those clouds are just amazing too.
Bill Phillips: Malvern is a great place Astrid with wonderful views

I thought I recognised this, Bill. How great it will be when I can return and see the Family
Bill Phillips: Indeed it will be Lisl. I miss the boys even though we do do a video call on WhatsApp

The third b&w image I see today - yes, my thought was, this must have been in Pre-Corona tiomes!
Bill Phillips: It almost seems like a different world Philine

We had no idea ... I was thinking similar thoughts when I picked my post for today. Excellent picture.

My wife retired en of Jan 2020 and we started planning a tour via the Cotswolds, Lakes and a trip on the Caledonian. Then events scuppered the buying power of our currency, badly. End of plan.
Bill Phillips: Hopefully one day your plans will come to fruition and as Malvern is close to, Droitwich it would be great to meet ups with you

Humans playing around with the natural world have helped in the making of the virus.... My goodness you have been encouraging those clouds
Bill Phillips: We have a lot to answer for.

It’s a fine old town Bill, and feels different to the usual places, if you see what I mean.
Bill Phillips: I do . Malvern and the hills are somehow in the wrong place. In the middle of gently rolling countryside. They look as if they belong in somewhere like Derbyshire

A fine view down the street. O've caught a bus from that stop but now I'm struggling to remember where I was going to. I also remember the delightful gaslights near your viewpoint.
Bill Phillips: Possibly to the station? We parked at the station and walked up to the town. The gaslights are still there
It's a beautiful area.......a great picture, Bill smile
Bill Phillips: It is Martin. We don't go there as often as we should ...not at all at the moment of course sad
I imagine the tourist information building isn't being overrun by visitors right now. Malvern looks very inviting in your superb B&W, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Not a soul to be seen probably like most places at the moment.
This is soo much better in B&W. Line and angles all pointing you somewhere. Love it!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Rob. Sometimes less is more!
Very typical of a proper English high street and a great photo as well. We've only been through Malvern by train and near there when we went to the Three Counties Show one year.
Bill Phillips: The showground is about the only flat bit! Very hilly town but a delight
The air above your town is cleaner now.🙂
Bill Phillips: I think that's true of most places at the moment
Lovely shot, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thank you kindly Tom
