Jolie bâtisse. L'arbre doit être magnifique avec des feuilles.
Bill Phillips: It is still beautiful without them Martine
It does look like a beautiful day!
I enjoyed the music!
Bill Phillips: I remember buying the Bobby Darin version in the early 60s

Ah! This is where you had high tea, I believe?
Bill Phillips: It was and it was wonderful!

Oh dear, sounds like the heavens are storing up something dire..
Bill Phillips: Hapily they didn't but it wasn't sunny when we left!
This is one of the reasons why I enjoy the winter months so much, Bill, when the trees don't obliterate the view but quite enhance it!
Bill Phillips: I just like naked trees Ginniesmile

This is oh so posh,
you must be swimming in the dosh.

This looks quite the place.
Bill Phillips: I wish! It was wonderful, a treat for our Helen's 40th birthday

This looks like a great place to stay, Bill. What an impressive tree there to greet you.
Bill Phillips: We were there for afternoon tea but it would be a great place to stay....I think we might treat ourselves one of these days!

A fine hotel with a modern addition - a nice treat for your Helen!
Bill Phillips: The palace is amazing Philine and they have made a very good job of both restoring it and converting it.

Creates a happy feel ...both by the Jazz and the fact that you had a ‘grand day out’.
Bill Phillips: Thank you. We did have a very fine day.

That extension is pretty good, all things considered. The music is great.
Bill Phillips: Viewed from the front I found it quite agreeable, and I am usually scathing about this sort of thing. Inside they have made a wonderful job of restoration and adaptation in my humble opinion

A shot that would lost had the foliage been on the tree. Has it always been a hotel? I'm it perhaps a school at one point?
Bill Phillips: Would you believe it was an Abbey? They have relocated to Yorkshire I believe as this place was too much for them to maintain
The music is wonderful and cheery and like a wake up reveille.

This is a very pretty building. Looks like a fine place.
Bill Phillips: A great version of a great song
It is fantastic!
Quite a nice looking building, much extended by the look of it.
Bill Phillips: You should see the rest of it! Well you will see some.
And then...?
Bill Phillips: It got cloudy!
I like your composition, Bill..........looks a very fine building smile
Bill Phillips: It is quite something Martin!
