excellent shot! i like how the sky and the grass are reflected on the chrome. and i am reminded that my uncle had a Royal Enfield, Bill.
Bill Phillips: A great name, that still is made in India I believe? The original bikes were made in Redditch a town about 20 miles from where I live

Looks proud!

So would I if I was astride that fine machine.
Bill Phillips: I only ever rode pillion on my brother's bike. I had a Honda!
Les motos sont belles mais font trop de bruit à  mon goût.
Bill Phillips: Some of them do! The old Triumph had a rather nice sound
Nice shot! Shiny and bright!
Bill Phillips: It had not been over restored

A fine looking machine Bill. I note the rider is not wearing a helmet I’d seat belt.
Bill Phillips: None of them were as I recall Chad.

Just like the olden days when health & safety didn't exist
Bill Phillips: Helmets became compulsory not long before I had a bike I think ...just as well really as I would probably have been killed when I came off mine and my head hit the road
Smooth operator!
Bill Phillips: They were lovely bikes in their day

A fine piece of British engineering. The bike looks quite small in comparison to those of today.
Bill Phillips: Not covered in massive plastic mouldings

That stand looks like it is looking for something to hang onto. Steam machine and bike enthusiasts = probably the same people.
Bill Phillips: That stand bothered me as it looks very risky! I imagine the enthusiasts get on well

The name of this machine says it all.
Bill Phillips: My grandfather worked for Triumph in coventry but on their car division
What a fine looking bike, the green rather suits it. Like you I fortunately had my helmet on the one and only time I came off my Francis Barnett Falcon back in the 60's, I can still remember the thud as my helmet hit the road, it doesn't bear thinking about does it.
Bill Phillips: No it doesn't. I had a nice chunk out of the helmet to remind me!
A great looking machine, Bill!
Bill Phillips: I remember the one my brother had. They were lovely bikes

Bill Phillips: The old steam powered traction engines.
where was this BIKER EVENT Bill?
Bill Phillips: This was in Northleach in Gloucestershire Alan. It was primarily a steam fair with classic cars and bikes. A really good day out
