I like them too, the bigger the better. When isolated you can appreciate their form..

But I can see other trees, too? wink Every year, I have a plan to photograph the same tree at least once a month from the same spot and then seeing the change over twelve months. Maybe next year...
Thanks Bill, what a cracking tree, I bet it will look good in winter without its leaves. We had a cracking lecture at the club on Tuesday by a guy called Bill Allsopp who specialises in landscape work and he showed quite a few lone tree images, if yous crol down on this link you will come across them https://lightiseverything.co.uk/landscapes (More following that lecture from me on Mmonday?)
