photoblog image A Gull

A Gull

I saw one of these sods land on a blokes shoulder and try to nick his ice cream. Needless to say I didn't have my camera poised ready to record this, so instead is his brother sitting on a rock

Je trouve que les goélands sont de très beaux oiseaux.
Bill Phillips: They are very handsome but I am afraid I don't like them!

I have at least twice been mugged by one of these sodding things. They fly at the back of your head from behind, thus making you drop whatever it is you're eating..
Bill Phillips: Exactly.

Bill Phillips: I am not wild about pigeons...flying rats
Back in the 60's.a friend and I went to the Isle of Man for the races and as we walked down the gangplank from the ferry one of these bl**d* things sh*t on my shoulder, I've hated the damn things ever since!
Bill Phillips: They are a bit fond of doing that!

I think this is common resting point of seagulls with loose bowels by the look of it.
Bill Phillips: They have permanently loose bowls Alan
I know you secretly admire them!
Bill Phillips: I secretly detest them grin
