a striking amount of colour on these leaves, Bill. a pleasing spot - is this considered a beer garden?

A pleasant looking beer garden...I suppose that eucalypt will make thirsty Australians feel at home, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Planting them became very popular at one time, until, I think, people discovered how fast and tall they grew!
Joli décor verdoyant pour cette maison ancienne.
Bill Phillips: A lovely old pub Martine
Such lovely color, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Lacock is a lovely place and finding these old snaps makes me want to pay another visit

This is the back of the pub with the red brick facade, which seems so out of keeping in this listed village.
Bill Phillips: You are correct in every detail. Clearly the front is not original and does not blend in well with its surrounds

It could be a timeless image apart from the Health & Safety notice on the door. I expect that fifteen years later, there could be even more H&S notices on that door.
Bill Phillips: The picnic tables are a modern contrivance too Alan

The yellow bear and the red lion - it sounds as if the circus is in town smile Well worked picture.
Bill Phillips: The world has become a circus but the clowns are not amusing
A very nice setting for relaxing, Bill smile
Bill Phillips: Very inviting. Less so from the front
Looks tempting!
Bill Phillips: It does but I don't think we went in!
Take out the picnic tables, brollies and the sign on the door and it would be almost timeless.
Bill Phillips: There's not much left Brian grin
A restaurant with no patrons is almost as bad as a pub with no beer.
Bill Phillips: It wasn't opening time Mary grin
Chaotic springs to mind, but it works Bill.
Bill Phillips: We will have to get used to chaos Frank......
