This looks very nice and lots of space in front of these houses...
Is this "expensive living" here, Bill?
Bill Phillips: They are large houses so I guess they are not cheap!

Most of the comments today include the adjective 'nice'. I guess people like the pleasing nature of these abodes.
Bill Phillips: Our's is a nice 'ouse, our's is
What a nice little 'ouse our's is
The roofs on the top of this pretty little shack
The front's at the front, and the back's at the back
Our's is a nice 'ouse, our's is
We've got no rats or mouses
It's cheap, cheap, cheap, sweet, sweet, sweet
Our's is a nice 'ouse, our's is.

It looks a nice place. We might never be able to say that of modern building. A surveyor told me that the houses being built now are designed to last fifty years.
Bill Phillips: If that became common knowledge then the market for new houses would plummet. Luckily only about 30 people ever look at my blog (despite what SC's hit counter says) that the secret is safe

This looks very weird to me. Here you stand in a graveyard of sorts. This graveyard is the front view of what looks like upmarket houses. Behind the hedge one suspects a road (it being the front-end of the houses), but there are shrubs seemingly growing there. Then I see a telephone pole with lots of wires going to it. So maybe there is a road.

One thing, if you live in one of those houses. When you cashed your chips, your family can just roll you over the hedge and start digging.
Bill Phillips: I am standing outside St Nicolas Church...which I think has featured on SC. Beyond the railings is a road and beyond that the very small front gardens of the houses
Much like buildings here.
Bill Phillips: I do like a good Victorian Building
Looks as if it would be a very peaceful and agreeable place to live, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Yes indeed Beverly. and very handy for both the town and the railway station
A fine selection of older houses, so much more attractive than some we see on building sites these days.
Bill Phillips: Solid looking and pleasing to the eye Brian
Very handsome - Edwardian?
Bill Phillips: The one on the left looks Edwardian so the others could be or late Victorian I guess

The real thing is so elegant - not like the copy cat attempts made by present day housing site developers.
Bill Phillips: I can only agree Anne
