Hmmmm... they could have done a little better...
Bill Phillips: I think so E
I suppose the white brick to the left of the door used to be a store window, Bill, in which case it would have looked a bit better?
Bill Phillips: It may have been but I have no idea why it is now painted white. The whole thing just looks wrong to me

I don't think this was the best solution... and I think that door can use some TLC, Bill.
Bill Phillips: It doesn't look right to me

This is odd - I wonder why they didn't open up that wall
Bill Phillips: And why is it painted white?

An ex-shop with white walls. Looks a bit racy to me.
Bill Phillips: I would not have thought of calling it racy grin
Bit of a mess this one isn't it. I'm surprised next door gets away with parking their car where it is.
Bill Phillips: You see this a lot Brian. At least he has double yellow lines in fromt of his house or he could get stuck there as there is no dropped kerb!
Maybe they go on fabulous vacations every year. Maybe they feed the homeless. Others might spend their money having their entrance look posh or classy.
Bill Phillips: Very true but it doesn't cost any more to produce a good design

The door and windows looks to be out fo all proportion to each other. I wonder if the extension happened before or after it stopped being a shop?
Bill Phillips: So many questions...so few answers

What a waste of white paint.
Bill Phillips: Does make you wonder what the idea was
A rather weird assemblage!

What a great series Bill, I look forward to the rest of this magnificent series.
Bill Phillips: I hate to disappoint you Chad but you may have noticed that this picture is 2 of 2. However, do not despair...tomorrow an exciting new series of pictures of pubs begins and will continue for 2 whole days
You realise you are becoming the architecture police Bill...
Bill Phillips: A grumpy old reactionary Frank

the door is the wrong style and the section of painted brick is confusing. hmm, there should have been a canopy extended around the corner to even things out. it's odd.
Bill Phillips: I agree with all you say Sherri
