Yes the connection is obvious isn't it? There is not a soul there! Nightlife eh?

this one is my fav of these shots

i like the deeply saturated colors and all of the geometric shapes
Bill Phillips: I agree it is the best of the three. I can't see the attraction of using these machines though
i like the variety of bright colours, Bill. i am no fan of such arcades myself.
Bill Phillips: I don't like them either Ayush and this is the nearest I have been to one in many years!
Kinda sad.... but I like your photos!
Bill Phillips: Not my cup of tea but good for taking snaps of!
I like this shot Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Frank. Have a good trip. Michael and Jean are stopping off in Droitwich on their way down to Looe......be good to see them
Cet endroit n'a pas l'air très fréquenté.
Bill Phillips: There was not a single person in there Martine

The residents of Minehead are either dead, in bed, or have fled
Bill Phillips: I wonder how many of the locals go in here?
It makes you wonder how/if they're surviving, Bill...except maybe for photographers like you?!
Bill Phillips: To be fair it was in March and had been raining

A good social comment . What time of day was this?
Bill Phillips: Early evening in March and it had been pouring with rain

Nice and quiet and I love this shot, Bill. People will come soon when the season starts.
I always like the colours at night.
Bill Phillips: This was March!

You really capture the ugliness and banality of these amusement places!
Bill Phillips: That is exactly what they are Philine. I remember as a child seeing loads of people in one one these places at the seaside spending most of their day playing bingo!

Only one soul - you! And considering your replies you didn't invest - slow evening, actually a stand still. It does make a colourful picture and nothing is blown.
Bill Phillips: I didn't invest grin I couldn't quite bring myself to go inside in case some jobsworth tried to stop me taking pictures....there must have been one lurking somewhere grin
Probably it will be filled in summer.
Bill Phillips: Indeed...I mean why go on the beach? Mind you when it is pouring with rain I suppose people have to go somewhere. This would be very much a last resort for me....and it would have to be pouring down grin
Makes for a good picture Bill, lots of different colours, goodness knows how it stays in business.
Bill Phillips: It was early evening on a wet March day so perhaps not too surprising Brian
I think that such places are past their sell-by dates, Bill - everyone is playing the same kind of thing on their phones!
Bill Phillips: You would think so but there still seem to be plenty of them about!
great colours Bill... i'm sure that the place is packed with kids spending their parents money during the day....petersmile
Bill Phillips: It probably is Peter

I wonder where everyone was? Perhaps the other fleshpots of Minehead was stuffed solid with people. Mind you, if this was the only "entertainment" for 100 miles, I still would not go in.
Bill Phillips: Nor would I Alan
so much detail
so much colour
so much glitz

what will be the fad or trend for the next generation of technology?
Bill Phillips: this sort of place looks rather old fashioned now.I suspect in the next 20 years there will be something invented that none of us had ever even dreamed of
