Lovely Minehead. I must take a train trip down to this very agreeable place after the kiddies have returned to school..
Bill Phillips: We are back down there at the end of May. The railway has serious problems and has been featuring in my freebie Steam railway magazine (courtesy of the bank) There have been a number of health and safety issues and financial problems. They have a new CEO now and hopefully things will be turned around because it would be a great loss

What a long pier, fine for walking along it, esp. when the flood comes in. Minehead must be lovely as I heard from Chris and Alan before.
Bill Phillips: We have really fallen for the place and the house we rented with Helen was just so ideal, especially as Joseph loved it. We are going again at the end of May for a week

You have done your best despite being a day late
Bill Phillips: Looks as if it has been scanned from a postcard comrade
they almost look like toy boats, Bill
Bill Phillips: Haha they were quite small craft Ayush
How pretty! I really like the wave-shaped cement breakwater.
Bill Phillips: Minehead is a very nice town

Were you waiting or the ride to come in? I know this to be Minehead. I think I may have said that we once rented a house immediately to the left of the big block.
Bill Phillips: I believe you have mentioned that. The cafe nearby has changed hands and now does a magnificent breakfast
We spent a nice couple of hours during our Minehead holiday a few years ago in the harbour area, and I've also read in the railway press there are problems at the railway, someting to do with different groups of enthusiasts/supporters I believe.
Bill Phillips: There have been issues over safety and financial concerns. There is now a new CEO and hopefully they will survive as it is a lovely line
good point of view Bill... how long before the tide comes in to float the boats sitting on the bottom of the harbour....petersmile
Bill Phillips: A few hours yet Peter!
Missed your connection?
Bill Phillips: No sense of time at all Tom
What a lovely shot! Good thing they've got the boats corralled for safety!
Bill Phillips: I don't think anyone in the UK would say corralled
