Acorns Rugby

I went to watch Worcester Warriors against Leicester Tigers on the 24th of February. We were helping Acorns children's hospice with a bucket bucket collection which raised £1000. Every season the club support this collection and it raises several thousand pounds.

The volunteers are all given tickets to the match which is a very nice gesture and I was able to see Worcester get a rare win. Actually this is only the 4th time I have seen Worcester play over several years and they have always won! They should hire me as the mascot!

Well done Bill. You should be ( and everyone who works with you ) proud of yourselves.
Bill Phillips: We have had a lot of fun being involved in Lions. I never thought when I joined the club when it started that I would still be involved 34 years later
Apparemment, tu leur porte bonheur.
Bill Phillips: I seem to!
Yes - you should definitely be considered their good luck charm... the Warriors AND the Acorns children's hospice! Nice work, sir!
Bill Phillips: Ange and I are volunteers at the Acorn's shop in Droitwich. We have been sorting out books there for the last 10 years....how time flies!

All in a good cause
Bill Phillips: Very much so. The bucket collection was only a part of the day's activities. Worcester Warriors have a good record in community activity
You are my hero ,carry on the good work.
Bill Phillips: You are too kind. It is good fun
Fine group of shots Bill. I don't follow Rugby but I do know that Tigers don't get many wins these days after being at the top for a long time, these things go round in circles I always feel.
Bill Phillips: Worcester always seem to struggle at the bottom end of the table. They are in danger of relegation again!
Battling in a good cause!
Bill Phillips: It is a wonderful hospice
