I remember them very well. Tove Janssen created them, I think..

I’m afraid that had passed me by Bill. What era was this?
Bill Phillips: The books were written between 1945 and 1970 and there were only 8 in total. There was also a comic strip. All were originally published in Swedish. There was a TV series in the seventies I think and there have been various other films apparently.

I think they were around in the 70's and perhaps 80's

Maureen remembers them, I was at work I guess when they were on.

I heard of them but never knew what they looked like. My friend referred to her daughter as a Moonin. I like the one in the red and white stripped bathers.
