Hate to say it, but it looks rather monotonous to me Bill....
Bill Phillips: Regency not your thing then Frank?
Works well with the black and white
Bill Phillips: Thanks E. Young Frank is not impressed with Regency Leamington sad

The only place it even slightly reminds me of is Cheltenham
Bill Phillips: Yes I am trying to think of other Regency towns, no doubt there must be others

My eldest son lived here when he was at Warwick University. I always liked visiting
Bill Phillips: It had been many years since I last visited and had forgotten what a pleasant town it is
Except for the cars, it could be an old postcard, Bill.
Bill Phillips: I bet it looked fine with horse drawn carriages Ginnie

Bill Phillips: Regency is rather handsome Philine

I agree with Ginnie here. It looks old but it isn't. Great B&W, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Rather elegant to my eye Lady P

It sounds like you stole those words from a tourist leaflet. Anyway, this is a fine photosnap. You will see just how good this is when I post mine of the same.
Bill Phillips: I wrote the tourist leaflet

I remember you taking yours ...it will certainly be different

Somehow it looks un-English with such a lot of these buildings. I think I am comparing with the Cotswolds. Still a great shot.
Bill Phillips: I suppose there is not that much Regency about as well preserved as this

Yes, it all look rather grand. I can just imagine Beau Brummel strolling down the street.
Bill Phillips: The Regency Dandy ......you could be a Hi-tech Dandy Alan
Looks as though there are still some independent shops on the street, instead of the usual suspects.
Bill Phillips: I believe there were Tom. I don't tend to take a lot of notice of shops
I like the timeless look here. Well done.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mary. Regency like this is rather elegant
It looks rather nice, we have travelled that way many times over the years but never stopped.
Bill Phillips: Worth a stop Brian. Although we didn't venture in the park is very fine
The homes on the left look rather posh, Bill. The lucky people living there don't have to go far to do their shopping.
Bill Phillips: Beautiful aren't they? I suspect they are probably offices nowadays
> Niiice... I grew up in a town called Leamington. It's the southern most town on Lake Erie in Canada. You can take a ferry across to the USA. When I was on a bus tour in England a couple of decades ago, I remember passing through here but not able to get a photo.
Bill Phillips: I guess your Leamington was named after this one Jacquelyn. It is a nice old Spa town
