Royal Leamington Spa

Welcome to Leamington. I visited with two shutterchance colleagues Tiff and Chad and this is where I parked my little car. It is on the second floor up near the left hand end. This car park may be hideous but at £3 for the day is not expensive as it is right near the centre of town.

C'est vrai que ce parking n'est pas beau mais le prix est attractif.

love, love all the patterns here and those arrows are fantastic

the black & white is perfect for this scene
Bill Phillips: Thanks Sherri. I thought so too
Yes - hideous... Just what I was thinking!
Bill Phillips: There are. lot of car parks like this around the country

This structure belongs underground, Bill.
Bill Phillips: True but the cost would be too great for the councils

It was a rather odd place, Royal Leamington Spa, I still don't quite know what to make of it..

Your picture illustrates very well the world we have made for ourselves in this green and pleasant land
Bill Phillips: I quite liked it, a shame we didn't have a wander around the park which looked nice
Sometimes you have to accept what you are given if the price is so right. I hope you had a good day.
Bill Phillips: We did. Three quid for the day made me tolerate it grin

Phew, from the thumbnail I thought we were in for a series of white arrows on roads.

I went to Leamington about ten months and we parked on a delightful mini car park adjacent to a lovely park. Some people choose good locations, other people use concrete monstrosities.

I am glad you went to Leamington. My postings of the said town must have encouraged the three of you to copy my idea.
Bill Phillips: I visited the park many years ago and it is a fine park. I chose this car park because it is easy to find and bear in mind who I was meeting......

Functional and straightforward - the way parking garages should be.
Bill Phillips: Art Deco would be nice.....grin
Not the most attractive of car parks, and there are many more like it throughout our land, but £3 for the day is very good. To park at Loughborough Railway Station is £12 for the day, one reason we don't use the train, it's dearer than the railway tickets!
Bill Phillips: Beyond number Brian but three quid is not bad these days

Not the prettiest of places but £3/day seems reasonable.
Bill Phillips: I was pleasantly surprised Alan
