I don't want to be picky, Bill ( but I will be smile ) But it looks like there is too MUCH detail in the shot.
Bill Phillips: Picky is fine smile Actually I am not sure if this works in b&w

Is that wild garlic?
Bill Phillips: Snowdrops Ray
I like this POV!
And actually - on my monitor it's better on SC!
Bill Phillips: Really? The original on screen looks much better and the version on Flickr is less compressed.

Damn good image though..
Bill Phillips: Glad you approve
On my monitor it is a bit better on Flickr, Bill, but both are "saying" a lot, especially with all those gravestones sprinkled throughout.
Bill Phillips: I am often disappointed when I see my pictures on SC compared with how they look in Lightroom before I post them

All those snowdrops... this is a great picture, Bill. It does look a little better on Flickr. Louis already noticed this a long time ago, that sometimes there is a "blur" after posting the first picture on SC, the second picture in the same post is sharper......
Bill Phillips: I have never seen so many. Yes Louis has commented and it is true. I wish the pictures looked like they do in Lightroom before I post them

SC does some compression of the image (but nowhere near as much as Facebook). As you say, it looks even better on Flickr. I would love to see this in colour.
Bill Phillips: I do have a colour version...I'll put it on Flickr

Oh, a carpet of snowdrops - a beautiful place and photo!
Bill Phillips: I have never seen this many before!
It is a bit dark, which some people like. The detail is striking .
Bill Phillips: I like dark I must confess
We all beg to differ, on my monitor it looks better on SC, much more detail in the shadows on the church tower in particular, but generally all over the darker areas. Nice picture though, nice looking church.
Bill Phillips: Interesting. It looks better to me on Flickr....mind you the original looks even better in Lightroom
Oh, I don't know, Bill - looks pretty good to me!
Bill Phillips: Pleased you like it Tom
i like it how the bare twigs really fill up the frame, Bill. come spring/summer and you will not see the church anymore!
Bill Phillips: Certainly not from this viewpoint Ayush!
