It is a long way from New Orleens, Bill.
Bill Phillips: About as close as I will ever get Ray!
Isn't that a pretty thing!
Get better soon, Bill!
Bill Phillips: It is rather good fun. Thanks!
Joli bateau à  aubes. Bon rétablissement.
Bill Phillips: THanks Martine
The good ship Oliver Cromwell... seems like is naming a ship the USS Richard Nixon
Bill Phillips: Or the USS Donald Trump!

What an impressive steam ship with a glorious name! I hope you are getting better. On the first page of our newspaper I read that the flu has already reached Germany ...
Bill Phillips: I have had my flu jab. This is nasty bug that is doing the rounds and apparently takes about 3 weeks to get rid of!

Slightly warmed ginger brandy (a healthy loooong tot). Down it, get under the blankets and sleep as much as you can.

Interesting picture - that thing at the back of the boat - that was probably Oliver Cromwell's design for an automatic head chopper.
Bill Phillips: Jack Daniels and honey....and sleep. Trouble is I can't sleep at night because of the cough.

A strange craft with an even stranger name

Sorry to hear you're coughing & spluttering, get well soon!
Bill Phillips: This is the second bout of it in a couple of weeks. This one is far worse than the first one and I am totally fed up with it
That would be a nice memory, Bill. But I'm so sorry about your chest cold. Get well soon!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ginnie

Hope you will feel better soon, Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks Lisl. The Doctor told a friend of mine who had the same thing that it takes 3 weeks!

This is a great boat, I assume they use it as an party boat...
Welcome to the sickbay, I have a wonderful sinus infection again....
I hope for you to a speedy recovery.
Bill Phillips: Yes I think so Astrid.

Sorry you are suffering, sinus infections are very painful

Don't take any antibiotics for it ….

I wonder where it was built?
Bill Phillips: Water wine and Jack Daniels and honey.

No idea

I hate this season of colds and sniffles.
Bill Phillips: So do I. This bug that is doing the rounds is a nasty one and I have been feeling lousy
Trimbo will come round wearing his nurses uniform and look after you.
Bill Phillips: OMG!!! What a prospect sad
Nicely boosted to best view. Sorry you have been ill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mary.

I do hope you will soon be feeling better Bill.
Bill Phillips: So do I grin. It has been doing the rounds here and is a nasty bug!
Great looking boat, so now we've got an Oliver Cromwell boat and steam locomotive, all we need now is a plane and a road vehicle for the full set.
Bill Phillips: Hahaha very true Brian

Not the sort of vessel that you normally see on British waterways. I wonder if the stern wheel actually powers it or is just for show?
Bill Phillips: I would guess it is for show but I don't know
Yes, this looks as if it could be a showboat or floating restaurant. Chest colds are the pits, Bill. Hope you are taking good care of yourself.
Bill Phillips: I think it is a restaurant Beverly. I am on the mend but Ange has got it now!
