Jolie vue, j'aime beaucoup le ciel.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Martine it looks a bit threatening
Lovely sky there!!
Bill Phillips: Not as dramatic as Mr Shaw's
We are definitely in the dash between the bling-bling, Bill, aren't we. Hopefully the skies will clear a bit before the New Year?
Bill Phillips: I am worried what the new year is going to bring. I think we are in the calm before the storm

Very English with all the Narrowboats - an inviting path along the canel ...
Bill Phillips: I do love to see narrowboats on our rivers and canals Philine
the houseboat apocalypse is here..
Bill Phillips: I often wonder what it would be like to live on a narrowboat.

Great sky above these narrow boats, Bill. This is a nice invitation for a walk too.
Bill Phillips: We had a long walk (by my standards) Astrid

Yes this was Cambridge alright. But I don't remember these end-of-the-world skies. All I remember is Trim blagging us into colleges and chatting up unsuspecting females..
Bill Phillips: As I recall it did rain

Very agreeable, Bill - reminds us there is life after grey winter
Bill Phillips: True. It seems to be a grey Christmas more often than not these days. We are off for a stroll around Croome this morning

'T was an ominous day. Luckily, we know that Cambridge survived.
Bill Phillips: It would be sad if this historic seat of learning and birthplace of Richard Trim should be wiped off the face of the earth.

Goodness … This is Cambridge, and is far too good to be just a filler
Bill Phillips: I am delighted you like it comrade
Definitely Cambridge but in my day when I used to go to Cambridge, (only 13 miles from where I grew up) I don't recall seeing narrow boats, I guess back then they were quite rare.

the grass and trees are unexpected and the sky is so ominously beautiful
