I liked this film too Bill, along with other ‘gritty social realism s with a hint of good old working class hunour’ Such as Raining Stones. In your snapshot, I like the way the Cathedral towers over the town. Nowadays it is normally Cathedrals of cash that tower over towns.
A fine shot across Worcester Bill. One day Maureen and I ought to explore the city having only been there once. I agree with you about the film, it's near the top of my list of favourite films also, the end is one of those 'lump in the throat' moments.
