wow, what a fine image

this reminds me of homes in the surrounding area where i grew up in Dayton, Ohio

the largest one i ever was in had 30 rooms. i spent the night there at a girlfriend's home and at the time didn't feel like i was capable of finding my way out.

anyway, English Tudor style homes are always so attractive from the outside and so dark on the inside.

Oh, this is a beautiful manor house - in Tudor style or mock Tudor?
Bill Phillips: Victorian Philine. With some windows by Burne-Jones and decor by William Morris if I recall correctly

Looks to be fine little country pad. The first house that my parents owned rather than rented was a mock Tudor style which seemed quite popular in the mid-1950s. Nowhere as grand as this, though, of course. It's a fine photo.

Good shot Bill and well done for getting everything in. I am rather fond of the intricate chimney stack.
Bill Phillips: The Chimney is indeed well stacked Chad
We visited here the day before the Black Country museum get-together, it is a fine place to visit and photograph.
Bill Phillips: It is a lovely house Brian. This was from aa visit a few years ago
What a decorative exterior to this mansion!
Bill Phillips: Victorian splendour Mary
A very handsome house it is, too - I wouldn't mind this, if I could afford it!
Bill Phillips: I could live here ! In my dreams grin
