Bill Phillips: It was a note left on dustbins by the council to let people know that collection days were changing.

Haha - what a find!
Bill Phillips: Outside Helen's door yesterday. It was a note left on dustbins by the council to let people know that collection days were changing. How it suddenly appeared there is a mysterygrin

Any sort of change from last week's appalling weather would be most welcome in this part of the world..
Bill Phillips: Looks like it should thaw out early next week. We had the most snow we have had yesterday so have got off fairly lightly

During my working career, I had many "interesting" conversations with my managers about change; they are naively believed that all change was good whereas I pointed out that only changes that improved things were good. There was many times when a change was made and it was given insufficient time to bed in before another change was made. They didn't like me saying "Told you so".
Bill Phillips: The universal argument by management about any criticism of change is that you are simply resisting it. Pointing out that their great idea has been tried before and failed miserably falls on deaf ears. 12 months later the same people stand up and change everything back to what it was before and claim it as their idea. Either that or they bring in consultants at huge expense and make about 25% of the staff redundant

Change is always coming, Bill
So you made your mind up about the op to remove your pickled onions and gherkin and want to be calledBetty after the op.
Bill Phillips: You said my secret was safe with you!!!
I have been telling some people about the snow there and in Ireland. Snowmagedden.
Bill Phillips: Thawing fast now Mary
An amusing shot, no doubt, like me, you saw lots of change during your working life. My son works somewhere with a shift system and about 3 months ago it was completely changed to something entirely new. In two months time they are changing it back almost to what it was before except in such a way that the workers will receive a bit less pay than they are getting now!
Bill Phillips: Nothing much changes in the world of work Brian.
I didn’t have enough change to pay for a car park session. I had to use a £20 pound note... the change I received amounted to seventeen one pound coins. NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL CHANGE.
Bill Phillips: You got change in a car park?
Hoping it's not worse. wink
Bill Phillips: Don't we all Claudio!
