Those concrete crosses are a bit tired, Bill.

very painterly image

as i viewed it, i couldn't help but think of several sets of my G.G.G. Grandparents who in recent years i've found their burial records. from what i've read, i picture cemeteries such as this one where their bodies were laid to rest.
Bill Phillips: If your ancestors are from the UK you may well be able to find their graves in one of our many churchyards
I love the design / architecture
Bill Phillips: It is a fine building E. Try and pay a visit when you come to the gathering

Very nice but personally I wouldn't be so brave as to twiddle an image with such abandon..
Bill Phillips: Just a simple conversion to a monochrome Chris....and not a camper van in sight

This would have been a fine snap if you hadn’t messed it about.
Bill Phillips: It was rubbish before I took it in hand to create this masterpiece
Do you often shoot men having a pee in a bush.
Bill Phillips: Now and then. I can recall two occasions
I fear this was left too long in the twiddling machine.
Bill Phillips: A matter of moments Mary
I actually quite like this effect, it looks a fine building, we should take note of your reply to Elizabeth, all being well we are planning to visit Pershore and Tewksbury Abbeys that weekend and Hanbury Hall if time allows, we still have to finalise our plans.
Bill Phillips: Pershore and Tewkesbury Abbeys are well worth a visit as is Worcester cathedral. Hanbury hall is, as you know my local NT grin

some of them are buried at All Saints Church Cemetery Bloxwich, Metropolitan Borough of Walsall, West Midlands, England

Their surnames were Bentley and Somerfield

If I mapped it correctly the church in your image is about 40 miles away
Bill Phillips: Yes that would be about right. The church in my picture is Worcester Cathedral. If I am ever up that way I will have a look!
Interesting treatment, Bill.
Bill Phillips: It seems to have had a mixed response Tom grin
It looks like a painting, beautiful.
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Claudio
good shot Bill... great treatment....petersmile
Bill Phillips: Thanks Peter pleased you like it. You have seen the real thing of course!

oh, my goodness, and do take your camera !
Bill Phillips: Of course!
I see you are getting a lot of stick for your processing , Bill. Personally I think it works ok, also I think the figure adds interest.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Frank. I liked it but some are not at all impressed. Fair enough smile

It looks like a pen and ink drawing (nothing wrong with that). A fine structure.
Bill Phillips: That was sort of the idea really
