Brilliantly captured!

In the wake of the rush towards modernisation of the system these locos never achieved their full potential. Luckily many are preserved
Bill Phillips: Bullied wasn't happy about not being put in charge after nationalisation and went off to run the railways in Ireland. I didn't know that although he came from New Zealand his family roots are in Devon, and that after retirement he lived for a while in Exmouth

Indeed! Bulleid was a fine designer. Is this from our Bridgnorth trip? Its a far better shot of it that I managed.
