Maintenant, ils sont détrônés par les cd.
Bill Phillips: and the Cd is on the way out replaced by streaming and mp3. I can get my entire record collection on an SD card!
They'll never catch on....

Was this on our day out a few years back. I seem to remember a table full of these in the drawing room.
Bill Phillips: Well remembered Mike but this is a different pile of records at Shugborough
Love this song and photo. I still have lots of vinyl.
Bill Phillips: These would have been Shellac I think Mary. I still have some vinyl and a record player!

The main picture looks great, but the colour of the Astaire insert spoil the presentation. His Master's Voice - does that mean Richard Trim can sing?
Bill Phillips: It does doesn't it!!
My first records were the brittle type Bill.
Bill Phillips: The first I bought were vinyl but we had 78s before that

I remember "Tiptoe through the tulips" on one of these old 78s.

A great capture of nostalgia Bill.
Bill Phillips: I remember The runaway train!
We've still got a box of old 78' the loft that were my parents, but I don't think we've got anything to play them on!
Bill Phillips: You can get players still I think Brian

Bill Phillips: Wonderful having a wind up!!
