This is the perfect place for your grandchildren to play... it is no crime to sit on the bench and enjoy.
Great pictures, love the long shadows..
Bill Phillips: I think that is Ange with Ted!
A wonderful backlight shot Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Richard
Gotta love those long shadows, Bill...and a park for kids to die for!
Bill Phillips: It is a good play area. There is also a fitness trail for adults further into the park...Astrid would enjoy that I think

Stark stuff but fun to try shooting into that yellow thing that sometimes appears briefly in the sky
Bill Phillips: the old contre jour is well worth doing

How fortunate for the people who live in the houses bordering that park, Bill
Bill Phillips: Better still for Helen who is in the next street and doesn't get all the parked cars

Oh, a paradise ground for Joseph and Ted and Bill and Andy, Helen's four boys!
Bill Phillips: Joseph is starting to get more interested now. Ted is a bit small yet!

I especially like the long shadows from the swings.
Bill Phillips: Moi aussi
A night shot in day time.
Bill Phillips: Haha It does look a bit like that
I like this one too Bill, but with a but. I like the sun but would have lightened the shadows if I were you, which I'm not, and you're not me, but then if you were me you'd be saying what I am saying and there would be two of us and none of you and imagine what trouble that might cause and so the whole thing is becoming irrational so I with I had not even suggested if I were you or if you were me or whatever it was I original said just forget it or better still ignore it or, well I presume you have just read this and, urea, I can just delete what I have put so, there you are.
Bill Phillips: This started off as a sensible critique but, sadly, plummeted downhill very rapidly

This time there are people in the park. Those long shadows are almost a subject on their own.
Bill Phillips: Often this play area is packed
That's a nice playground and sitting area. The one in Loughborough has a fence round it, I believe it's call 'safeguarding'!
Bill Phillips: One very good reason for fencing play areas is to keep dogs out ....keeping the children in is a bonus
i like this high contrast with cool blues, Bill. was it a particularly cold day?
Wow, that's certainly contre jour!
