Feeling a little nostalgic today, Bill?
Bill Phillips: I got it out to play and thought it deserved a photograph Ray
I saw the piano he composed this on, in Phoenix of all places....A strange feeling looking on it.
Bill Phillips: I wonder how it got there. It is a song that will long be played.

A good album, one with nostalgic resonances for me
Bill Phillips: It was a good album and I am pleased to have the means to play the vinyl version still!
If you have only one, you can't beat it!
Bill Phillips: If you mean vinyl then I still have quite a lot

a part of my youth - I liked his specs ...
Bill Phillips: and mine Philine. Lennon was my favourite of the Beatles. Strange bloke but he had something!
So very well done Bill! Congratulations.
Bill Phillips: Thank you Richard. Still sounds good!
Very nicely taken!
Bill Phillips: Thank you Jacquelyn. The album still sounds good!
Is this LP cover resting on a Perspex cover Bill?
Bill Phillips: Gosh you are observant Chad. That is a record deck that plugs into my computer or directly into a set of speakers or both.
A lovely spiritual image of John looking at us Bill.
Bill Phillips: Strange to thin it is nearly 35 years since he died. What would he have been like now at the age of 75?
I have a live version of this song that just floors me ever time.
Bill Phillips: It was one of the great songs of the time
I wasn't a great Lennon fan but this one is such a brilliant song in all ways. Back in the 80's a guy in the theatre group I was in done this as a cabaret turn, he was so good even all the cast used to stand in the wings to watch and listen to him.
Bill Phillips: It is a great song and if everything else he did is forgotten I don't think this one will be

Be careful Billiam. You seem to be able to think people into thinking superficial thoughts and comments about the most mediocre elements of John Lennon.
Bill Phillips: What a strange comment comrade. This is a photograph of an album that many of us of a certain age own. It has his best remembered song on it. End of story really. How people react to it is their concern. I have done nothing to influence them
i like the black and White approach to this image. draws in the attention to the right places i.m.o.
Bill Phillips: It seemed appropriate Ayush
That one took some working out!
Bill Phillips: We can work it out.....
