Great Black Monday picture.
Bill Phillips: It is a great name for a place. I would love to find a place called baconbuttie

Black Monday has invaded your blog now, too!
Bill Phillips: It keeps Chad quiet Philine

Lovely shot Bill - something out of nothing. You have great tonal range, the vignetting works well, the stone thingy anchors the photo and the road leads the eye in - a big thumbs up.
Bill Phillips: It looked nothing in colour but seemed to suit b&w . Pleased you like it Mike
Yes, please, though it is a bit early.
Bill Phillips: Only real ale allowed though, none of this chemical muck!
excellent shot Bill, i like the scene and the clouds in the background, the scene almost blends into the SC background
Bill Phillips: Thank you very much Ayush
In competition with the Chad Monday Gloomsville uplifting scene
Bill Phillips: I blame Chad for most things.

Despite the 1950s TV feel to the imagine (and the 21st century traffic), it is a most attractive street and I especailly like the open stream running down the side of the road.
Bill Phillips: The stream is a little delight Alan
I remember walking long here in October with the new walking stick I had just purchased in the chemists of all places. I promise not to mention rain this time, oops!!
Bill Phillips: Rain?? What is rain??
Nicely threatening clouds, Bill.
Bill Phillips: They were benign really Tom
