I do like that bracken and lamp-post beside the track, Bill.
Bill Phillips: The lamp is a nice period detail Ray
This is very 'English' ,Bill ( not a criticism) I like your treatment too.
Bill Phillips: It is indeed Frank. Very different from the American monsters!
you spent a long time waiting to capture 285 at the same spot and andgle as 3453 yesterday... good job and great treatment....petersmile
Bill Phillips: We had been to the museum and back in between Peter grin
It almost looks like a toy/model train, Bill, apart from the very lush Mother Nature.
Bill Phillips: It might look like a toy Ginnie but it weighs about 75 tons

Very good. I am making a mental note to get stuck into new software this winter, as well as my thermal combinations..
Bill Phillips: I advise it very strongly. Hours of harmless amusement.

So many railways at the same place! I didn't understsnd Chris' comment?
Bill Phillips: Chris is thinking of getting NIK or Photomatix Pro. Or maybe even both. The thermal combinations suggest he is too mean to turn on his central heating come the winter
I can smell the steam from here Bill.
Bill Phillips: and not a hint of chip fat either

This is very good Frank, much better than yellowbear's miserable efforts.
Bill Phillips: I think this must be spam

Sorry Bill, wrong person. This is ok.
Bill Phillips: I am deeply hurt
A different machine at the same place! This is a busy place Bill...
Bill Phillips: They run a fair number of trains and they are usually pretty full Richard!

Here he comes - leaning into the curve - a racing change to fifth - and he is making up for yardage lost against no 4609. Another mexican wave in the stands!

Great picture.
Bill Phillips: Doing all of about 10 miles an hour grin
Cracking shot Bill, everything just right. BTW who's that young lad on your Flickr page, is it anybody we should know? I see you have some Sidmouth images, we are off to there on a coach holiday on 11th.October for 5 days, it will be our second visit to this delightful resort.
Bill Phillips: It is me at the age of about 13. I had to go to Sidmouth the other day for work and got to have lunch with a very dear old friend who runs a very nice guest house there with her husband.
great capture on the approach, Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Ayush

Another great shot Bill. Were you standing on the lines to take it?
Bill Phillips: The very end of the platform Anne, I don't fancy getting hit by a 75 ton locomotive....even when it is going slowly grin
Treatment suits it, Bill
Bill Phillips: They look good in b&w

The real engines were much more exciting than this ''Phillipino'' version
Bill Phillips: It is a simple b&w picture of a puff puff comrade
Superb, Bill. A very powerful picture.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Grahame.

Ah... a GWR loco on home turf. What new software will Chris be trying - Candy Crush or similar?
No discs?! How does anyone know what it does?!
