And it's a damn good tribute too Bill!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Chris.
Would make quite a good texture Bill to layer with another image, could get something interesting out of it.
Bill Phillips: I may just do thatsmile
I have one just like that. LOL
Bill Phillips: That's not fair...you get rain pictures but I never get any snow onestongue Enjoy the chocolatesmile

Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Ann. This was a very spur of the moment shot that I probably wouldn't have taken if I hadn't been looking at Viktor's picture...and it was raining!

Aha. Here they are, "the tears running down my window". The mood here is definitely sentimental. Cheer up, Bill. The sunny days are on their way to England.
Bill Phillips: It was a miserable, cold wet day. Spot on sentimental...I've been converting my old records to mp3...many early 60's and I remember most of the words. On the top of the pile to do was The Cascades.."Rhythm of the rain" The Cricket season starts soon! (Ginnie can explain cricketsmile )

I always like to watch the glittering raindrops running down the window, especially when they are gathering in order to build up a little waterstreet, and every raindrop has its special 'individual' form. Lovely the background behind the window, a look at the clouds, the sky seems clearing up, brighter parts appear and drive away the raininggray! Raindrops are a fascinating Photo-subject (see also:http://www.wimvandermeij.nl/index.php?dailypic=1405)
Bill Phillips: Funnily enough it did brighten up not long after I took this!

It'll be nice, won't it, to have windows free of rain for a little while.

grin @ Ginnie explaining cricket, do you think she will?
Bill Phillips: It hasn't been a great Easter weatherwise has it? Ginnie does know a bit about cricket!

I like the top, left-hand corner best.
Bill Phillips: Fair enough...it is the sharpest part of the picture

Bill Phillips: We rarely get any snow to speak of. We have had a few little flurries but mainly it has rained!

Exactly what I am seeing out of my window at this moment. What a vile weekend we have had. (:o)
Bill Phillips: Not been great has it? Hoping to get out today. Helen and Andy (the soon to be marrieds!) are coming over and if it brightens up we will try and get some fresh air!
Like it with the heavy sky behind the rain !
Bill Phillips: We have had a cold, wet Eastersad
