i don't think i've ever seen such detail in stained glass

Bill Phillips: It is very fine. Normally I am a bit wary of modern stained glass but this is a delight to my eyes

Oh, I don't remember these impressive stained windows.

"Even if I knew that tomorrow the world would go to pieces, I would still plant my apple tree." (Martin Luther)
Bill Phillips: I think they were commissioned in 2002, but I don't know when they were actually installed

I like this, it looks as if we are peering into another world
Bill Phillips: He has done a number of windows, including in Birmingham and Durham cathedrals
i like the fiery tones, Bill. this is quite unusual to my eyes.
Bill Phillips: And to mine really Ayush. He has done windows in other cathedrals in the UK apparently
This window certainly has very brilliant colours.
Bill Phillips: It is magnificent Brian

I’m pretty happy with most contemporary stained glass
Bill Phillips: You are pretty happy with any glass as long as it is filled with wine comrade

Good to see "modern" real faces in this new glass
