Snow does wonders with trees and this is a beautiful scene. I hope Chad will enjoy it too, I know. Why does Chad want a border around this picture, I am sure the snow will stay in the picture with or without border. I have to admit in this case it adds to the picture.

The border looks, sorry, a bit like a 'Trauerrand'/ black funeral border - but I like the winter image.

Cheers mate. If you change the background to black you will see that it enhances this picture. But your pride might forbid you from acknowledging this.
Bill Phillips: I considered both and tried both and originally I was going to post it with a slightly wider white edge on a black background. In the end I opted for this and I am still undecided.

I really like this, it looks even better against the black background with the thin white line making a border.
Bill Phillips: As I said to chad I considered all sorts of variations but plumped for this in the end. I am not saying I was right grin
The mono special for Chad was meant to be shown on a Monday, I'm sure.

We have had a big storm with high winds (continuing today) that brought rain after snow so now we have no snow, just ice.
