Not very wide is it, Bill...more like a gutter than a canal, eh!
Bill Phillips: Wide enough as long as the boats are narrow Ray grin

Personnellement, je préfère en couleur mais la photo est belle quand même.
Bill Phillips: I like black and white and thought this made a contrast to yesterday's picture
Narrow boats, narrow canal and narrow path...Beautiful image Bill!
Bill Phillips: We live in quite a narrow country Richard
Those trees make some wonderful shadows!
Bill Phillips: Don't they just!

Very agreeable, a fine composition redolent of the 1950s
Bill Phillips: I can see what you mean sir
It's definitely not the same as in color, Bill, but you still get the point about what a special place this is...and how the roofs of these narrowboats store anything and everything!
Bill Phillips: You are correct Ginnie.

Never seen Thule-type roof boxes on a canal boat before. Alamsot the exact opposites of a Range Rover-type existence with the roof boxesand the spartan lifestyle on the canals.
Bill Phillips: I think some of the boats are rather well kitted out. This one looked a bit unloved
Are you sure Bill, this looks rather much like the Kennet and Avon canal to me.
Bill Phillips: There is a great similarity Chad. Mainly the water and the boats and perhaps the towpath
Colour man colour.
Bill Phillips: Use your imagination for heaven's want everything on a plate
Love the shadows on the nearest boat.
Bill Phillips: So did I Mary
The mono gives this a nice period feeling.
Bill Phillips: I agree Brian

A narrow boat in camouflage gear! Even a wheelbarrow for the garden somewhere on that boat smile This is Droitwich on the narrow, but not so straight. Jokes aside - a great shot.
Bill Phillips: Haha Thanks Louis.
Does well in B&W, Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks Tom. It worked for me!
Colour for this please, Bill. Nice comp' all the same. smile
Bill Phillips: B&W makes a change and I liked the shadows
