Doesn't look too bad in charcoal hues, either, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Colour is overrated Ray
these stone rooftops need no colour Bill... superb composition....petersmile
Bill Phillips: I quite agree Peter. My comment above was just a wind up grin

I have the feel to live in Dicken's times - and poverty overall and crying Olivers and Davids.
Bill Phillips: All the smoke and grime of Victorian England Philine
It also looks nice in a grungy B&W, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Actually it looks a lot better like this Ginnie

Shame its Black Monday then ;o)

Mind you I enjoy the graphic rhythm of the roof tops made by the unifying monochrome.
Bill Phillips: I was being tongue in cheek about the colour Mike
So many shots, I wonder about the colour but this one is so, so perfect in B/W.
Bill Phillips: Pleased you think so Mary

Very well photographed Bill, I presume this is the Cotswolds?
Bill Phillips: Thank you Chad. You presume wrongly though. This is Corfe Castle

Bill Phillips: Thanks Louis. Delighted you like it
A striking image in black and white Bill. Do we get to see the colour version?
Bill Phillips: Not a chance Janet.
I do like this version, shame about the scaffolding but there was nothing you could do about that.
Bill Phillips: That's their roof top patio Brian.

My thought is the same as Philine's - a feeling of "Eee.. it's grim opp north" but I'm thinking that this is the vaillage of Corfe Castle (as opposed t othe castle fo Corfe Castle - obviously smile )
Bill Phillips: This is indeed the Dorset village you mention

You need a cat on the roof tiles
Bill Phillips: Consider it done
I am having a bad time as it is and you go and put this up, have you no pity.
Bill Phillips: I will send you the version I have just done for trimbo
