]]> We are to have a new health centre, replacing the 1970's building currently in use. That is the good news. The bad news is, this is it. Why are they building a warehouse? Why dirty white blocks ( the evening sun flatters them) and dung coloured cladding. The patio doors on the first floor are a little worrying too. The building will dominate the town , at least until they build the threatened multi storey car park. OK so I'm a miserable old git, but I think this is an abomination

]]> This is part of the redevelopment of the shopping precinct in Droitwich. As a shopping centre it has never had much going for it and the 70's style precinct was a bland effort. This is to be a cafe in the centre of the precinct. All glass offering a fine view of Dolland & Aitchison on the one side and Specsavers on the other. A pity the Architects didn't visit one of these excellent opticians before embarking on this project. No doubt our local quarter wits will enjoy vandalising it.
