Hang on, I've just seen another picture from Ilfracombe today! Not the same as this though, I wonder if you've spotted it?
I like all the white bits in the waves, spume isn't it?
Bill Phillips: Young Brian has one today I see! Spume? well a little enhanced perhaps
Shot into the sun I guess... richard
Bill Phillips: It was blazing down somewhere Richard, but sadly not here!
The slight blur makes a nice abstract picture Bill. Looks like a painting to me!
Bill Phillips: It has had a little twiddle Richard
This does look like a painting. Have you twiddled? I like the simple composition.
Ingrid
Bill Phillips: Of course I have twiddled...but only a little
Agree it does look like a painting. I like it!
Bill Phillips: I had a little twiddle and quite liked the result
Thanks for calling me "young Brian" in reply to Ellie, oh that I was. Great effect, at least you got something out of your flying visit to ilfracombe on a cold winters day. Brian.
Bill Phillips: Not at all old chap
I'm not normally into effects like this, but I like this one. mal
Bill Phillips: Well thanks Mal. I tried not to overdo it on the twiddling ( a failing of mine)
Well Bill I just LOVE it
Bill Phillips: Well Tracy, I'm delighted you do
WOW, I like the processing you have done here, fabulous, just love the waves, nice job here, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Astrid, glad you like it
You twiddle away Bill,nice one.
Bill Phillips: Cheers Mick.
super twiddling Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks Tim, glad you like it
Pretty much beyond a photo now, but I dont mind that, being a fellow twiddler and all that
Bill Phillips: Actually Nigel it is not that far from the original, well not by my standards anyway
That sea looks really silvery, Bill. Hang on...I can see a sheep coming through.
Bill Phillips: You are very observant as always Chad. However, the sheep is a product of your own fevered imagination. I will never take a sheep picture ever again.
Bit too heavy on the twiddle for me my friend, but hey, variety is the spice of life ;o)
Bill Phillips: A light twiddle by my standards Mike
envie de vacances, soudain...
Bill Phillips: It was cold and wet, but the weather got better for my daughter who was staying on holiday.
What can I say? It looks miserable, i.e. it captures the atmosphere very well!
Bill Phillips: Indeed Martin!
My my - we have been a twiddling! Nice effect though Bill
Bill Phillips: Well only a little bit really...by my standards!
lovely effect bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks Doc. Glad you like it
y'know first thing I did was to check the EXIF data wondering just how you did this! I looked at it and was still clueless...
then I read the comments and I see you've 'twiddled'. Nice effect, I like it.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Abisola. I can't remember exactly what I did!! I was trying to get a bit of interest into the white and make it a bit painting like. I know I added a couple of layers and a bit of blur!
the morning may have been grey, Bill. but the impression was silvern. love it !
