Knightshayes Court 3
This is Knightshayes Court. If you like Victorian Gothic it is wonderful. The weather was rotten and this was the best I could do.

The picture looks remarkably like an Edwardian postcard.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ellie.
It truly feels like a thing of the past, Bill!
Bill Phillips: Hi Ginnie, goo to have you back! This place is wonderful. I am rather fond of Victorian buildings and the gardens here are beautiful.
Soft, romantic, historic. Lovely!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Jewlya. The view from the back is wonderful...on a nice day!
An imposing building, Bill.
A charming if rather twiddled study of a fine house. You were clearly stone cold sober when you did this Bill - as of course you always are!
Bill Phillips: Sober as a judge! I'm still thinking of consulting my lawyers though.
Will buy you a pint when you visit Droitwich, but I think Chad should only have lemonade
Great looking building Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks vintage. I believe the National trust really wanted the garden but the house was not that highly regarded as Victorian was looked down on!!
I would love to see this for real, I love these houses and you made it a very good picture, the (tulip) tree on the left is beautiful with it.
Bill Phillips: It's a lovely house and the garden is a delight
Lovely shot Bill. I really like Victorian style!
Bill Phillips: Me too Richard. It's only recently that it has started to be appreciated
Was this before or after your binge drinking with Chris??
Nice looking place Bill
Bill Phillips: It was an impostor that Chris must have met. I would never have failed after 49 pints
Knightshayes is great. Well worth a trip down the M5
Excellent shot of a beautiful building! Wonderful work.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Martie. It's a lovely house
A wonderful shot that puts me in mind of classic novels.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Red Pen.
This looks like the perfect setting for a Victorian ghost novel. It could be haunted even now (if you happen to believe in such things. I like this picture, the rotten weather suits it.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Sheila. I think the weather probably did suit it!
You haven't done bad Bill even if the weather was bad. By the way, I tried the Orton Effect out you referred to the other day. Great fun on the right picture.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Brian. You will have to show us your twiddle!!
I like the composition Bill with the sweep of the drive and the bush. I am sure you could have got a good B&W out of this without the need to twiddle ;o)
Bill Phillips: Probably could have. Wightwick on Tuesday is in b&w.
This has a very soft, painterly quality. I have been here a couple of times, but never inside the house. Did you go in? I believe it is quite Gothic inside.
Ingrid
Bill Phillips: Yes we did and it is well worth it. It is quite Gothic and also you could actually imagine living in it. We will certainly go again as it's only a couple of hours down the M5
A very successful atmosphere here with this old victorian castle : A great one Bill !!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Zeb. We really liked it here and will go again
