I can sing a rainbow
I've being playing with a trial download of lightroom. I love the crop tool cos it makes tilting shots like this ever so easy. It is also a twiddlers delight! So plenty of colour and a jaunty angle. Hope you like it.

You've tilted it on purpose?
Bill Phillips: Yes, I couldn't resist it!
A superbly clear picture.
Is lightroom relatively easy to use? I've found that I've got a code in with a new memory card.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ellie. Lightroom is very good. It is easier to use certainly than the older versions of Photoshop. I don't have CS3. It is a lot cheaper than CS3 and is designed for photographers. I would recommend downloading the 30 day trial and having a go.
It's very sharp and incredibly colorful. Nice.
Bill Phillips: These boats are wonderfully colourful. Glad you like the picture Red Pen
Extremely sharp and the colours are awesome.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Aussie. The colour is pretty genuine! These boats are very colourful.
Funny you're playing with this because I was just talking to someone the other day about Lightroom, Bill. I'll be eager to hear what you think of it. You sure have a delightful splash of color here plus an interesting effect of the reflection.
Bill Phillips: I think lightroom is very good. It is easier to use than ps7 but I don't have CS3 so I can't compare it with that. I think if you have CS3 you probably wouldn't want lightroom. I reckon the best thing is to download the 30 day trial and give it a whirl.
Love the colours and the way they are reflected in the canal.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Russ, pleased you like it
This is an amazing shot Bill. The colors really jump out. (thanks for the tip on Lightroom. I'm definitely going to try it)
Bill Phillips: Thanks Scarlet. Yes do try Lightroom it has a lot of good things in it.
Bill, did you use Lightroom yesterday too? I love the colors here and the tilt. Again a nice one!
Bill Phillips: No, yesterdays was in PS7. Unsharp mask and a bit of colour manipulation to try and get a softer look. The frame on this one was also done in PS7. I'm saving up my pennies to get CS3. Pleased you like this one.
love this bill, the colours jump out at you.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Mick Pleased you like it
I like the tilt. It adds to the already appealing shot.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Martin. I don't normally tilt shots but this seemed to work.
Very nice colours and refections
Bill Phillips: Thank you Richard.
I do like it, Bill. I like it very much! Such vibrant colour, and the reflections are excellent. (:o)
Bill Phillips: Well thank you very much Ros, I'm very pleased you do
'Hope you will like it??' But Bill this is a stunning picture, love everything, the framing and the letters you used are great, a very nice job here
Bill Phillips: Wow, thank you Astrid. I'm delighted.
So you have been twiddling as well!! Love all the colour,It's brightened up the dull day we have had here.
Bill Phillips: I can't help myself! Not been too bad here today. Hope you sleep ok tonight!
Great result. I must get myself in gear and learn more about Lightroom.
Bill Phillips: You can download a free 30 day trial from the adobe website. It's a good piece of software but I doubt you would buy it if you already had CS2 or 3
Nice one , Bill. All the best, Dave.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Dave.
great shot Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks Terry. I love these canal boats, they are a riot of colour.
