Clent bluebells 4
Just a conversion and no twiddle...come to think of it no bluebells either! Oh and that figure on the path is Angela, trying to avoid the mud!

This looks more like fall than spring. Like the curving path either way.
Bill Phillips: It does rather doesn't it? I think the tree is a bit dead!!
Angela knows a good path when she sees one, Bill. How idyllic, bluebells or not!!!
Bill Phillips: My wife is a wise woman
I rather like this ... Maybe it would have looked even better with Angela further away in that patch of sunlight. richard
Bill Phillips: Well thank you Richard. I rather like Angela as a silhouette!
And no colour either - but a jolly nice picture!
Bill Phillips: I have to do the odd b&w or the blackdog will sulk!
I hope Angela did not get to muddy Bill
Love the shot bulebells or not
Bill Phillips: She avoided the mud with great skill! Glad you like the picture Tracy
Good b/w conversion - the lightness of the path curving into the distance and the dark figure make this for me.
Ingrid
Bill Phillips: I think Ange will like being a dark figure
I really like this shot Bill. Despite the mud, the curved path is very inviting!
Bill Phillips: This was one of the first nice days and the paths were still very muddy. Glad you like it Richard.
Are you in any way related to Bill Phillips of Droitwich?
Bill Phillips: Nooooooo.
No colour of spring I am sad lol
Bill Phillips: I am thinking of doing a gardening masterclass, so plenty of colour there when I start!
It's amazing what a difference colour makes. Without your description I couldn't have been sure this is a picture of Spring, long shadows and bare trees makes me think more of autumn.
Just as an experiment I scrolled the page up, to lose the stronger branches crossing in from the right - what do you think of the way it looks? Mmm, this IS an interesting picture Bill.
Bill Phillips: I thought about a crop and decided to leave it as it is. Funnily enough exactly where you are suggesting. I think it works well and perhaps I should have done
think the conversion works Bill not something i would have thought of with all the wonder of nature in there. Great shot
Bill Phillips: Thanks Tim. This one just seemed to suggest b&w. It's blackdogs' fault.
Great picture with the curving pathway.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Louis.
The curved path is great Bill, I would never have thought of converting this but with all those shadows it works very well.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Brian. I do like doing b&w and this one seemed to lend itself. I'm still a novice at it though
Wonderful work with a perfect management of lights and dark ! Bravo !
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Zeb
Wonderful conversion - and I think you now have a very eerie mood. I know those aren't moors, but you almost expect to see Heathcliff! Great shadows!
Bill Phillips: It's that tree on the left...a bit menacing!
Great shot in B/W.
Bill Phillips: Thank you, and thanks for the visit
