Alfie
I think they must clean their paintbrushes on the wood!

Fantastic splash of color. The pink is a surprise.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Red Pen. I think the pink is faded red.
Looks like it was painted with 'tin ends'. I love the way the yellow has faded out to reveal the bare wood.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ellie.
I think Alfie has a great choice of picking his colours...let say.....50 years ago, stunning, love it
Bill Phillips: I think he like the primary colours! Thanks Astrid
OLD OLD OLD. This screams OLD! I love it, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ginnie. I think they'd have to do it up to condemn it!
When I first saw it I thought it was a processing effect you had added. I love it.
Bill Phillips: Apart from a bit of sharpening this is how it was Aussie! Thanks for your comment
Very bewitching colours ... We don't know anymore where to look ... Very nice shot !!! Ann
Bill Phillips: Thanks Ann, pleased you like it
Brilliant photograph, Bill. Such a surprise to see these colours. I really like this very much. (:o)
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Ros. Very pleased you like it.
love the riot of colours and time-worn shades and textures. as brilliant as ever, Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks Terry you are too kind!
I love it ! Very nice picture and your border gives the great final touch !!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Zeb, pleased you like it.
Great colours - great textures - INTENSE! Mike
Bill Phillips: Cheers Mike.
Looks like they stepped out for lunch. Great textures in this shot!
Bill Phillips: Thanks Martin, there certainly wasn't much sign of life!
Crazy colours ...they actually grate and have no aesthetic appeal at all for me ... BUT, and the but is the crucial thing ... it seems to be a 'natural' cacophony of colour (hmmm you can't say cacophany of colour ... but heck!)and it is a buzzing, bosterous, bombastic beauty. Ha! richard. wicked grin.
Bill Phillips: I thought it was wonderfully hideous. I think that is similar to what you are saying Richard.
j'aime beaucoup ce genre de photo
Bill Phillips: Merci monsieur. Vos commentaires sont appréciés.
Some nice colours here Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Bernie...there's certainly plenty of colour here
un mélange de couleurs et de textures détonnant
Bill Phillips: En effet ! Non beau du tout !
Come on Bill - I know you painted it especially for the photo. Yellow with pink, what a combination, will have to try it in a painting ;o)
Bill Phillips: Honest Mike...never touched it Guv!
Great colours - and I'm pleased to read that they are straight from the camera.
Bill Phillips: Thanks. That was the appeal for me. It was actually like that!
I have a brother Alphie and had posted the Lily Allen song, Alphie, for him last winter. Some of my songs have disappeared and that is one.
Bill Phillips: I'm not a Lily Allen fan but it's a shame it disappeared!
This is unusual, I like it Bill
Bill Phillips: Thanks Nigel. Unusual is a kind way of putting it
