an exceptional image of a beautiful structure
Bill Phillips: A local pub that is not as old as it looks
Very nice B&W, Bill!
Yay for Roy!
Bill Phillips: I wish I had had the opportunity to see him in concert

Appropriate for a black and white timbered property, Bill
Bill Phillips: It would look the same in colour grin
nice meaty feel to this one.
Bill Phillips: Cheers Rob!

A fussy image really..
Bill Phillips: You are making too much fuss about it
You know me, Bill...I'm a huge fan of Tudor/half-timbered structures, even in B&W! And my favorite Ray Orbison song is "Crying."
Bill Phillips: I like Crying too and his version with KD Lang is magic!

Crisp and full of sharp detail. Excellent.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Louis
this scene lends itself well to b/w treatment, Bill. i am familiar with the artist but not this particular song.
Bill Phillips: I thought so too. The song dates back to 1961....you are too young to remember it grin

The Victorian myth. I used to like Orbison, he has an interesting voice.
Bill Phillips: I don't think it is even that old Chad. I still love the Big O

b&w is so appropriate to show us this Tudor building - a very fine composition! Or mocked Tudor?
Bill Phillips: Very mock Philine. 20th century pub
Come on Bill, Buck up.
Bill Phillips: I am recovering from a nasty chest cold that has been doing the rounds here.

I like this song very much, too - for lots of years.
Bill Phillips: It is an unusual construction for a "pop" song not having the usual verse chorus but simply builds to a dramatic finish.

Very effective in black and white.
Bill Phillips: Thanks very much Anne
High contrast black and white, it works well with this old building.
Bill Phillips: Pleased you think so Brian
Looking solid and sound, Bill; not your usual crooked timbered property.
Bill Phillips: It isn't that old Beverly
Nice one, Bill.
Bill Phillips: Thanks Tom

Very nice, too. I used to live in a black and white house when I was child; it was built in 1957!
Bill Phillips: This is probably earlier...but not ancientgrin
Crisp and sharp and even...
Bill Phillips: Thank you!
A great shot and a great song...
Bill Phillips: Thanks Larry and I agree
